The largest one day festival in the Midwest is going on on Sunday.  Grand Old Day runs along St. Paul’s Grand Avenue and includes food, entertainment, a parade, and tons of fun!  Elizabeth Ries stopped by and got a sneak peak of all the festivities to see what it takes to make it happen.  Plan to stop on over on Sunday, June 7th from 7:45 AM to 5 PM.  John and Rebekah will be out there judging parade floats so be sure to say hi!

When the production of Zanna, Don’t, opens at Minnepaolis Musical Theatre it will introduce audiences to an alternate universe where being gay is the norm, where ;chess players are the studs, and where one of the pressing arguments of the day is whether straight people should be allowed to serve in the military.  The hip musical fairy tale takes place in a high school and the plot revolves around a teenage “matchmaker” and the scandal that erupts when a boy and a girl dare to fall in love!  Twin Cities Live viewers get a sneak peak with a special performance!  For show times, tickets, and more information, click here.
