Rice-a-Roni   ...More To spice things up in the TCL Kitchen, we’ve challenged five of our favorite chefs to take common boxed food items and create an entirely new meal – we call it our Box Food Challenge!  For example, if they get Mac and Cheese, they could make anything but Mac and Cheese, because the point of this challenge is to get creative in the kitchen and cook outside of the box!  First up for the challenge is Chef Ray Wyatt and his boxed food item is Rice-A-Roni!

Leading An Assertive Life   ...More Standing up for yourself and not letting others take advantage of you is a skill according to the Mayo Clinic.  Being assertive is helpful and healthy, but why is it so hard to achieve?  Our Relationship Expert, Dr. Verna Price, is the author of “The Silent Cry: Dealing with Subtractors in Work and Life,” and she returned to TCL to help us be assertive without being controlling.

Purge: Rehab Diaries   ...More From the age of 13, the author of the next TCL Library pick spent nine years of her life struggling with her eating disorder.  Nicole Johns is a U of M graduate and has recently published her memoir about her 88 days in rehab.

Olivia Newton John   ...More It’s been 30 years since she starred opposite John Travolta in Grease, but today she has a new leading man and real-life summer love story!  Olivia Newton John married John Easterling in June of 2008, in a private ceremony in Peru.  Olivia and John met 15 years ago when Olivia’s dog played matchmaker.

Twins Opener!   ...More The Twins open their final season in the Metrodome the night of April 6, 2009, against the Seattle Mariners before moving outside next year at Target Field!  Activities for the opener kicked off at 6:30AM as fans lined up at the Dome to get some free breakfast, hot dogs, chips and coffee.
