2009 Inauguration Report  

American’s across the nation witnessed a day that is sure to be included in the history books.  Our first African American President ever was sworn into office.  Thousands of Americans made the journey to Washington D.C., witness Barack Obama get sworn in as our 44th President of the United States.   A regular guest to Twin Cities Live, Dr. Verna Price, along with her husband and oldest son took part in the activities in Washington D.C..  Dr. Price happily braved the cold to witness first hand this historical event.  She stopped by Twin Cities Live to give us a first hand account of what it was like to see it happening in person.
