Actress Melissa McCarthy is known for her comedic roles in movies like “Bridesmaids” and “Life of the Party”, but her latest role in “Can you ever forgive me?” definitely shows off her talent in a new way. Melissa stars at Lee Israel, a bestselling biographer who was in a major writing funk. So, she started writing fake letters from famous authors. She then sold them. Melissa’s portrayal is raw, real and likely an award winner.

It’s about a team of women that go into a “shimmer” or mysterious phenomenon that has people going missing. The ladies team up to figure out what it is and why so many people never return once going in.
