  • Corset Personal Styling"Look the part" is Carrie Leum's fashion philosophy. A believer that clothes do make the woman - when it comes to improving self-esteem, attaining work goals, getting a fresh start or turning heads - Carrie Leum is president and founder of Corset, Inc., the national wardrobing company for women whose time is too valuable to spend at the mall.

A 20-year veteran of public relations and corporate communications, Leum has dressed countless clients - CEOs, brand spokespeople and celebrities - for appearances on television shows from Oprah to CNN. In addition to helping major companies build their brands and manage their image, Leum has styled everyday women for special occasions, trips, interviews and events.

Leum is the recipient of the 2009 "Innovative Business Award" from the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and has won numerous awards for excellence in communications, including the Silver Anvil - the public relations industry's highest honor. Leum attended fashion merchandising school and holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin, with a degree in consumer science and consumer economics. A former fashion columnist who now shares style insights in blogs, Leum lives in Minnetonka, MN with her husband, Grant, and her two children. She has chosen her own designs for some of the most memorable days in her life, having designed her high school prom dresses and her wedding dress. Leum was voted "best dressed" by the Viroqua, WI class of 1987. And she's still looking the part.

  • Daniel Green is a world renowned chef who has had television shows on Discovery, BBC, ITV, Sky, and 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS locally.

Daniel was over weight as a teenager, and at the age of 18, decided enough was enough. He started reading through magazines and books to try to learn more about food and how it worked. This led to Daniel making recipes and experimenting with healthier ways of cooking. As a result, Daniel saw a dramatic change in his weight and grew to love cooking with different herbs, spices and flavors. Gradually Daniel developed his own recipes and helped friends, family and colleagues at work. He really worked at learning all about nutrition because the key to all this was to be healthy. Daniel says, "There is no point being thin and unhealthy". Nor is there any need to eat boring foods. Half of the meals Daniel makes, you wouldn't even realize they were good for you! Shop NBCThey taste just as creamy and delicious as the full fat alternatives. He is currently the in-house chef for ShopNBC in the USA, as well as filming several series in Asia.

In addition to his television work, Chef Green has hosted cooking events around the world including the Mandarin Oriental, Shangri-LA, and the set up of the major London nightclub, Nells. He also has three cookbooks in circulation with a forth in the works.

And now, Daniel Green has joined forces with Twin Cities Live as the Chef in our Kitchen Takeover segments. Every week, Daniel travels to a viewer's kitchen and makes a tasty and delicious meal for the family; just with the things he finds in their refrigerator!
